Businesses perform better when you have diversity of view in your senior leadership positions. This is not just the right thing to do morally and socially; it's the right thing to do for your business.

In partnership with Global Women, Champions for Change support three major initiatives to develop capability and bring promising leaders into the limelight:

Activate, BTL and TupuToa

The Breakthrough Leaders Programme (external link)  is focused around immersive and experiential four-day intensive residential modules that develop and shape the ‘whole leader’. Between modules, participants work with executive coaches to put learning into action. They meet influential Global Women members, successful alumnae and diverse thought leaders in a variety of domains. Participants also complete challenges with their organisation and in their community—testing their ability to lead large-scale change and gather feedback.

Created by women, for women, Global Women’s Activate Leaders Programme (external link)  is designed to lift you from middle management to the next phase of your career – driving a mind-set shift, inspiring your career trajectory and helping you move from emerging to game-changing leader. Activate Leaders Programme is a four day experiential programme, delivered in three locations. You’ll get the opportunity to learn from leading business, political and social leaders while enhancing your leadership skills and building your career networks.

TupuToa (external link)  is an innovative internship programme creating pathways for Māori and Pasifika students into careers in the corporate and professional sectors. Over time, the programme will produce a powerful, national network of Māori and Pasifika business leaders who excel in their careers, who demonstrate deep-seated cultural intelligence, and who are strongly connected to their cultures and their communities.
